Review
This story had everything, romance, murder and mayhem. There was a lot going on but I loved it and I thought it worked really well, it all fit together well around Lauren and Dane’s story and was balanced. I liked the paranormal angle and the fact that female characters were strong minded and interesting.
This is the first in the Fortis series and although it can be read as a standalone I was pulled into the Fortis world and clicked buy on the second book before i’d finished reading this one.
